Anita Omonuwa is a triple First class degree holder from the University of Reading, UK (LLB), Nigerian Law School (BL) and the University of Birmingham, UK (LLM). She graduated top of her class at the Nigerian Law School, where she received several prizes including, the First Class Students Prize, the Council of Legal Education Star Prize, Best overall performance, Best Female Student and Best Student in Corporate Law Practice.
As an associate at Templars, Anita Omonuwa specializes in commercial dispute resolution, arbitration, finance, project and infrastructure, oil and gas and power. Prior to joining Templars, she completed various work placement schemes in notable firms both in the UK and Nigeria such as Shoosmith, Clarkslegal LLP, Hatten Wyatt, Ferdinand Orbih, SAN & Co and D.D. Dodo, SAN & Co.
Anita is the Vice President of the Association of Young Arbitrators, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and the Young International Arbitration Group of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA). She is also a volunteer staff counsel at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce International Arbitration Centre (LACIAC).
